We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Junior Moderator to join our moderation team at Moonlight forums. As a Junior Moderator, you will play a vital role in maintaining a positive and respectful community environment by enforcing forum rules, assisting users, and fostering engaging discussions. Some key responsibilities of a moderator are:
Monitor Forum Activity: Regularly check posts, comments, and discussions to ensure compliance with community guidelines and standards.
Enforce Rules: Identify and address rule violations by issuing warnings or escalating issues to senior moderators when necessary.
Assist Users: Provide support to forum members by answering questions, resolving conflicts, and guiding users on proper forum usage.
Encourage Engagement: Foster a welcoming atmosphere by promoting meaningful discussions and encouraging user participation.
Document Actions: Maintain accurate records of moderation actions, including warnings issued and user interactions.
Collaborate with Team: Work closely with senior moderators to share insights and contribute to the development of moderation strategies.
Minimum Qualifications:
Age Requirement: Must be at least 13 years old.
Communication Skills: Excellent written communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively.
Problem-Solving Skills: Strong ability to assess situations, make informed decisions, and resolve conflicts amicably.
Familiarity with Community Guidelines: Understanding of the forum’s rules and commitment to upholding them.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute to a positive community culture.
Note: You will require a valid google meet account or discord account. Either works. Having a discord account provides further advancement opportunities but is not necessary.
